Look what washed up out of my sewing basket. I bring a small suitcase of materials on vacation and challenge myself to make something from only what is inside. It's amazing how much you can create from just a small amount of raw material. If you bring only the "good stuff" you will be assured something nice in the end.

She is a sweet mermaid! I love her blushed cheeks and her beaded tail. I am sure she was enjoyable to create. I have done the same on a trip, taken a small basket of handwork to play with. So much fun!
